The Shipping Company Gustaf Erikson archives contain 11 series. The classification follows the Finnish ABC classification scheme.

D. Copies

Da: Copies of outgoing letters

Includes 18 volumes of copybooks from 1893 to 1939.

Dd: Copies of letters to commanders 

Includes five volumes of letters to commanders sent between 1928 and 1948. The letters are arranged alphabetically by the captain's last name.

E. Incoming documents

Ea: Letters from commanders

Includes 19 volumes of letters from commanders sent between 1909 and 1948. The letters are arranged in alphabetical order by the vessel's name.

Eb: Business letters

Includes 13 volumes of business letters from 1906 to 1953.

Ec: Circular letters to the vessels

Includes three volumes from 1945-1953.

Ed: Clarkson letters

Includes 24 volumes of letters from Gustaf Erikson's agent, H. Clarkson & Co. Ltd., spanning the years 1913 to 1948.

G. Accounting records

Ga: Ledgers

Includes 32 volumes of sailor's ledgers, ship's journals and more from 1902 to 1941. The series is arranged alphabetically by the vessel's name.

Gb: Clarkson's accounting reports

Includes six volumes of accounting reports from Erikson's agent, H. Clarkson & Co. Ltd., from the years 1917-1936.

H. Documents arranged by content

Ha: Ship documents

Includes 32 volumes of documents concerning vessels from 1910 to 1952. The series is arranged alphabetically by the vessel's name.

Hb: Charterparties

Includes six volumes of charterparties from 1910 to 1947. The series is arranged alphabetically by the vessel's name.

Hc: Documents

Includes eight volumes of diverse documents, including newspaper articles, seafaring magazines, photographs and maps.
