Reading Room
Everyone is welcome to make use of our resources in our Reading Room during the opening hours. Our Reading Room consists of 14 desks for researchers, a microfilm and a micro card reader, as well as computer access to various online resources. We also offer various catalogues and registers to assist You in Your research. Our skilled staff is always happy to help You.

Copying service
We provide copies of estate inventories, certificates of registrations of title, wills and other documents to our customers. As of 1 July, 2020 the price for a regular copy is 0,50 euros / A4 page. Price for certified copies is 1,50 euros / A4 page.

Library
Our library has a wide collection of literature related to the history and autonomy of Åland and its surrounding areas. We collect and acquire books that have a central role in the local history, as well as literature that is connected to the archives we keep. We also have a collection of genealogical books and books of law.
A majority of the titles are available for loan. Books can be borrowed and returned at the service desk of our Reading Room. Please notice that all loans are to be signed off with a receipt. The lending period is 30 days.
