The Provencial Archives of Åland holds the archives of the Sheriff (kronofogde) of Åland and the Borough Administrator (magistrat) of Åland. The Sheriff's passport list holds names of more than 10 570 people and their family members, and the Borough Administrator's passport list lists the names of 4 500 people and family members.
